Terms of service

These terms apply when you use www.willowcoach.com and the WillowCoach app. By creating an account or sending footage for review you agree to them. Our privacy notice explains how we handle your data.

The service

WillowCoach turns batting footage you upload into a coaching review: measurements of your technique, the faults that matter most, the correction for each, drills and a training focus you can practise and re-test. Reviews are prepared by our coaches with the help of our analysis software and are delivered in the app. We tell you in the app when a review is being processed and when it is ready.

Free review

Each account can send one free review. Setup checks, your scores, faults and evidence from that review stay available to you. Everything else, including further reviews, the corrections, training focuses and progress tracking, is part of membership.

Membership

WillowCoach Membership costs £79 a month, billed monthly in advance through Stripe until you cancel. There is no minimum term. Membership includes unlimited reviews, the correction for every fault, training focuses built from your reviews and your progress across sessions. Reviews are for the players on your own account.

You can cancel at any time from Account in the app. Cancelling stops future payments; your membership continues to the end of the period you have paid for and is not refunded for the part of the month remaining, except as set out below.

30-day money-back guarantee

Try membership in your own nets. If it is not for you, email hello@willowcoach.com from your account email within 30 days of your first membership payment. Tell us you would like to use the money-back guarantee. You do not need to give a reason or prove an improvement.

We will refund your membership payments made during those first 30 days in full, including any renewal taken within that period. You can use your reviews and training features before asking: there is no deduction for use. We will also cancel your membership so there are no further payments. We issue the refund to your original payment method within 14 days of your request; your bank may take additional time to show it.

The guarantee applies when you first join membership, once per account. It does not restart when you rejoin and does not cover later renewals. Cancelling renewal in Account stops future payments; to claim this guarantee, also email us within the 30-day window. This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights, including any right to cancel within 14 days, and does not limit them.

Your footage and content

You keep ownership of the footage you upload. You give us permission to store, cut, analyse and display it inside your account to provide the service. You must have the right to share what you upload, including the agreement of any other people who appear in it. Do not upload footage you do not have the right to use, or content that is unlawful or abusive. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms.

Accounts and players

You must be 18 or over to hold an account. A parent or guardian may add players under 18 to their own account and is responsible for their use of the service. Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.

Coaching advice

Reviews and drills are coaching guidance based on the footage we receive. They depend on the quality of that footage and on you applying them, and they do not guarantee runs, selection or a particular score. Stop and seek medical advice if a drill causes pain. You are responsible for practising safely.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available and to deliver reviews promptly, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may improve or change features, the analysis and the drills over time. If we make a change that materially reduces what membership includes, we will tell you in advance and you can cancel before it takes effect.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable when you joined, or that we could not reasonably have prevented.

Ending the service

You can close your account at any time by emailing hello@willowcoach.com. We may close an account that breaks these terms. If we withdraw the service entirely we will refund any unused part of a paid month.

General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting the rights you have as a consumer where you live.
